People from Bengal around the world are eagerly waiting to see a resurgent Bengal and are closely watching how new govt handles, despite its political compulsions, the iconic Newtown project as a test case where much promised development of an ultra-modern planned city is delayed too much. To begin with, not any other "Nagar"....rename Newtown to GreenTown with much bigger, inclusive and grand plan than previous government to set agenda loud and clear and ensure speedy implementation.
Sir, New Town is a big hope of a resurgent Kolkata and this is tremendous news. This will be a great opportunity to enforce the ZEST scheme now. Regards Sudip
