We had meeting today of 59 Urban Local Bodies - their chairpersons / Nodal Officers - and explained the guidelines of Smart City, AMRUT and Housing For All by 2022 (Urban). There were Powerpoint Presentations by Sutanu Kar, Mission Director and Mani Pradhan, Director SUDA. I gave the opening keynote address.
Under the Smart City Challenge, each ULB has to fill up a score sheet as per given criteria. I told all that we need these by next Tuesday so that we can place it to MoUD by end July as required by them.

ReplyDeleteI request you to kindly look into the basic requirements of a working post office and telecom services in New Town. I have the experience today of going to the sub post office of new town which is in a village out side the mega city area, to collect a speed post article, from there I was directed to go to Krishnapur Post Office some 7 km away.The condition and location of both these is nothing to be written about. It would go a long way if residents are not put to hardship for lack of basic amenities.
