DVC to set up office in New Town
DVC was allotted a 3 acre plot in Action Area 3 in 2007 for setting up of a training institute. Now DVC requested in their letter dated 29.4.2016 that due to shortage of space in DVC Headquarters at Kolkata, they would like to set up an office complex in this plot. The matter was put up to the Board of Hidco in its 30th March 2017 meeting. Considering that the operation of an office of DVC in New Town would be good for the development of New Town, the Board agreed to the request of DVC.
