In Salt Lake sector 5, there is the IT township. Water is now taken from underground: this is non-sustainable. So a PPP project is being commissioned. It is expected to be commissioned later this year. But water supply from surface water has still some rough edges to smooth. Talks are on with KMC (Kolkata Municipal Corporation). Yesterday we had this meeting on EM By Pass land. Chief Secretary Chaired. Pr Secretary Land. RRR and me were there. Decision was postponed.
