New Conference Room and Crisil Meet

We had a meeting with Crisil Infrastructure Advisory today. KMDA, KMC, KMWSA, SPMG and others were there. Field visits will take place to see if Waste Water treatment can be done on a PPP basis for few pilot schemes.
The meeting took place in UD Department. The new conference room was made ready today and we used it for the first time today.

    The conf room is indeed nice.
    Back in NewTown - yesterday's sudden storm took it's toll in one of the light posts in front of my complex (Akankha, AA-IIC). Current status is that 3 out of 20 light posts are damaged/ broken. I have been trying to call up the NKDA no. (1-800-245-1572) since morning for someone to pick it up - no response.
    Also, I think someone should come and restore electricity in that area. Not sure whom to complain!

    Please don't take offence - it's kind of unfair of me to nag you about small civic amenities in NewTown.

    But there is no clear contact no./ help desk and so you become the to-go persons for us netizens. Once again, sorry to bother you Sir.

    Somehow one gets the impression that the speed of development in Newtown has slowed down somewhat. We are not hearing of any major projects in AA II and III, apart from the odd announcements. Even individual and co-op plots are not being handed over that much. The large projects seems to be getting delayed indefinitely. There appears to be lack of manpower, technical and otherwise in HIDCO.
    SIR, please assure us that everything is ok.......
