In the morning, I was the Chief Guest for a regional workshop on use of National Urban Information System developed by National Remote Sensing Centre. This focuses on making master plan of towns and cities using satellite maps and the Bhuvan Software. Twenty-one participants from Kolkata, Durgapur, Siliguri, Jharkhand and other places participated. It was held at the Regional Centre of NRSC in Kolkata at New Town (near Home Town building). A photo:
