Transfer of Land in Sector 5 made easier

Yestrday, in a meeting with a Group of Ministers consisting of Amit Mitra, Firhad Hakim and aved Khan and also a Group of Secretaries consisting of Sanjay Mitra, m and S Kishore, it was decided, inter alia, that for the 89 ares of land given to WEBEL in the last decade for onward allotment to IT companies, MD WEBEL will be authorised to grant permission for transfer of leasehold rights on behalf of UD. However, govt dues must be deposited by WEBEL on realisation into the treasury
