Plots on Auction in February 2014: Foreign Bidding Allowed for first time.

Recently, we have published announcements in newspapers for auction of four plots in New Town Kolkata. The closing dates of all four bids are 26/27th February 2014. All four are prime plots of land. The details are as follows (bid documents are available in Hidco's website):
1. A 2.75 acre plot for Hotel-cum-Multiplex and Shopping Complex (Plot no. CF-2)
2. One acre plot in Action Area III for Office Complex (Plot no. IIIF-18)
3. A two acre plot for Nursing School / College (Plot No. IIF/9).
4. A 30 kottah plot for Health Institution (Plot no. DG 20/21).
In respect of sl. no.4, an e-auction will be held; foreign bidders are allowed to bid here.

This morning, Ms. Neelam Meena, IAS, Deputy Chairman of Tea Board and I visited Tea Garden area in Eco Park. We explored the possibility of setting up a tea bazaar, tea boutique or tea museum in mutual cooperation. Two photographs:
