Mothers Wax Museum is one year old today

Last year this day (11 Nov 2014), the Mother's Wax Museum was opened to the public. It was inaugurated the day before by Hon'ble CM from venue of Film Festival at Netaji Indoor Stadium.

Since then, almost 1.5 lakh visitors have visited the museum, new models have been added ( Mother Teresa, Pranab Mukherjee, Sachin Tendulkar, Mujibar Rahman and Abdul Kalam. A wax Durga was also added. A new gate with bold 3D letters have been constructed and a parking plaza made.

Souvenir shop and cafeteria have done good business. Cross promotion between Nazrul Tirtha, Cafe Ekante and MWM has started.A second phase in a floor below have been planned and is under execution.

We plan to cut a cake tomorrow afternoon at MWM
