The High Powered Committee on Smart Cities headed by Chief Secretary met formally yesterday at Nabanna and sat through the State level presentation by Urban Development Department, and the four ULBs of Bidhannagar, Durgapur, Haldia and New Town. The Committee recommended all three Smart City Proposals for the Stage 2 of the Smart Cities Programme.
