Urban Renewal and Financial Hub Meet in UK

Now I am in the immigration-checked area of Kolkata Airport, waiting to board London bound Emirates flight EK571. Minister Mr Firhad Hakim is leading the 2-member delegation. We have a busy scedule ahead where we will highlight Urban Development in West Bengal and Financial Hub in New Town Kolkata.

    Hope you can share with us later the salient features of the scoping studies on Urban Regeneration for Kolkata. Could you/HIDCO also showcase Rajarhat/Financial Hub as an investment destination in UKIBC's magazine (similar to the one on Gujarat)

    So Sir,...how is Canary Wharf treating you? Are they showing positive vibrations about the financial hub?

    Isnt it amazing to see the transformation of London Dock to such an amazing financial cluster? They are also trying to build a great software hub in East London with all the California headquartered companies.We can also perhaps think of replicating that model in New Town.
