Bonsai Garden

As on other Saturdays, I held a co-ordination meeting at site on Eco-Park. This was the 9th Saturday. After the meeting we all went to the 5 acre plot being developed by Debashis Roy of PHE. We took a group photograph of ourselves at the Bonsai Garden. It is already shaping up well and one can see it from the main road on way to airport. Here is the photo, taken on my Sony h55:

  2. Thumbs Up for Bonsai Garden, e-auction mechanism and higher secondary school. The scanned copy of TOI report is too small to read. If the open-air foodcourt is being planned for the hawkers, then its a fantastic idea.

Since you are handling the UD Department, I had a few questions. Dont know whether they come under the purview of KMDA OR UD Department.

    1. Had heard that Flyovers are planned at Ruby Hospital and Kalikapur and underpasses are planned for Ajoynagar and Metropolitan as a part of BRTS. Is it true? Are we going ahead with the plans?

    2. Any update on flyover at Jadavpur Thana?

    3. Any update on Railway Overbridge at Bagha Jatin on EM Byepass? It is stuck for 2 years due to a gap over the Railway Line.

    4. Any plans of constructing flyovers on BT Road from Shyamabazar to Dunlop / Barrackpore and on EM Byepass from Ruby to Gariahat / beyond ?

    5. Any plans of coming up with the specifications for road-width, electricity, sewerage, footpath, parks etc for layouts coming up around New Town in and around Rajarhat / Lauhati / Bhangor belt ?
