  1. Welcome steps.
"strong action would be initiated against such institutions who had started operating with involvement of many students/ people without Completion Certificates" - "institutions" means only institutions like educational institutions or does it broadly include real estate companies forcing people to take possessions without Completion Certificates as well? I guess in case of any untoward incident in such housing complexes fingers will be pointed towards NKDAs as well - hence better to send strong notices to those builders as well.

  2. Dear Mr.Sen,The Eco Park management and maintenance proactive action that needs to be developed can have a number of innovative secured, self sustaining, advocacy,info-entertainment energy savings, waste to wealth, wildlife preservation PPP business modules.Bench marking the Eco Park to world class such endeavors happening globally would be a logical forward intervention.
I reviewed the little information available on public domain on the dynamic drivers of the ecosystem of the park.Given the size of 450 acres and located within an wetland it is feasible to integrate Best Of Best practices creating employment and empowerment to the local community involved in the caring and custodianship. Ironically this year is the Wetland Tourism Year.Look forward to seeing exciting innovation integration in developing the Eco Park.

  3. @Sauman: We are also thinking. One thought that has crossed my mind is to consider village tourism - whereby villages near eco-pak may be geared up for high end tourists. I'll talk to Yes Bank tomorrow to exchange some ideas: they have done something in Purulia

  4. Just curious, what if the tender amount is split into multiple units; each below 50 lakhs for a single job? Just a thought.

  5. Sir, talking about eco-tourism, I had recently visited a place called Monchasha near Kanthi, and it was a lovely experience.A couple has ventured to try out a community based tourism in Bengal, and it's a laudable effort. I would really love it if such things come up in this eco park.
