    1. Confusing TNN reported 34 and hindu reporting 59 stories.... Which one to believe. As per my opinion for a massive scale project 34 stories will not be enough or iconic either, as by the time it'll b built there will be atleast 50 more buildings more or of the same height. So 59 can be told as iconic although still it may also not be tallest with Chowringhee tower and Park-II on the anvil.

    2. Sir,

Want to attract your attention on the same issue.Try to make it 59 stories or something above 60 stories.34 is not at all impressing in Kolkata these days.Already several 40/50 stories buildings are coming. To make it of real international standard and to catapult Kolkata again in the international finance centers like Mumbai/Singapore we need something like 60 stories with best-in-class design.

  2. Can you please update on building market/community place/police station in and around AA IIC? Day by day all HIDCO land is getting filled up by make-shift shops, later, HIDCO would have to compensate to vacate them. Also, road connecting AA IIC is being used for dumping building materials and always crowded by trucks, causing inconvenience to passers-by.

  4. Guys ,
Please make it clear what we want ! 60 storied building or atleast 6 Big companies generating at least 60000 jobs. You look around in this area of New town and Sec V, lofty buildings are coming but can we see +ve occupation of them by companies?

And whats happening , road boulevards/dividers are constructed then painted again destroyed and recreated ? -- whats the logic behind this when it is known state is in dilapidated condition and running thru financial crunch ?

    2. I think there are some height restrictions because of proximity of airport.

  5. Superb news...just wanted to clarify something..."The Hindu" & "Businessline" mentioned the iconic tower's height as 59 stories while "ToI" mentioned it as 34 stories. Pls clarify it to clear the confusion.

    Thanks and regards
